A safety data sheet (SDS) is a document produced in conjunction with the UN’s Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) that the manufacturer, importer, or distributor of a chemical product is required to provide to downstream users. SDSs contain information about chemical properties, health and environmental hazards, protective measures, as well as safety precautions for storing, handling, and transporting these chemicals.

SDS PDF is an SDS electronically stored in PDF format (.pdf). Having the PDF version will allow quick access for all your employees. If you only have a hard copy, have it scanned and converted to .pdf so that it can be included in your company’s SDS library online.
